``ppm`` (Password Policy Module for OpenLDAP) is an extension of the Password Policy Overlay.

It enables an administrator to add new criteria for a given policy: minium number of character classes, forbidden characters, check against cracklib,...

``ppm`` is provided as contributed code in ``contrib/slapd-modules``.
